Deborah joined the Shaw Group in 1987 after serving seven years as a Canadian
Air Force Logistics Officer. During her tenure in the Air Force, she became an
expert in the field of personnel management and instruction, and attained the 
rank of Captain before retiring. Deborah started her career in dental technology in 
both the Ottawa and Toronto laboratories, learning her craft and diligently honing
her skills in every department. In 1991, she was transferred to Michigan to open
and manage what has now become Shaw Dental Studio. Throughout her career,
Deborah has participated in numerous CE courses, most notably those offered by
Dr. Peter Dawson and Matt Roberts, both renowned in their respective field for 
their expertise in functional and aesthetic dentistry. Deborah’s area of proficiency
is Ceramics, and she places a great deal of emphasis on ensuring that those 
principles taught by the experts are applied consistently within her laboratory.

Deborah and her team at Shaw Dental Studio share equal dedication to their 
doctors and patients, as well as to the quality of product. She believes that Shaw
Dental Studio’s ultimate success has been achieved by focusing on the needs and
expectations of the patient. As she states, "You cannot forget that there is a
person behind every model, every restoration and every case that you send out
the door". This overall customer-oriented model has served Shaw Dental Studio 
well.
